The story changes depending on who you ask. Dana says they first exchanged glances at church. Jonn says he first spotted her at Bible study. Either way, they both agree that it was God that brought them together. The two Young Life leaders quickly went from friendship to dating to engagement in a matter of months, but everyone could tell that this was something straight out of a fairy tale.

It was back in the friendship stage that things started to change between Dana and Jonn. Over dinner with friends one night, Jonn glanced over at Dana and felt butterflies in his stomach, and the pursuit was on! It took a little longer for Dana to realize what was happening, but she knew it, too. This was it. This was what they had both been praying for for so long. This was love.

Not long after dating, the time had come to pop the question. And it was perfect. Since they eventually agreed that they met through Young Life, it only made sense to bring things full circle. So during one of their weekly clubs, in front of 85 crazy high school kids, Jonn got down on one knee and said three simple sentences: "Dana, I love you. I want to grow old with you. Will you marry me?" Dana had one word: "Yes."

And the rest is history! Or, it will be. Jonn and Dana can't wait to say "I do" in front of their closest friends and family members and celebrate the start of the next chapter in their lives. This young couple has no idea what God has in store for them, but they are ready to take this journey together. Forever.
